Sporting Ambition - White Lightning On November 7, 2007 Australian surfer Mick Fanning 26, woke up in Brazil with a good feeling that something big would happen that day. “I was in a really strong position going into the [Santa Catarina Pro] contest and there was a good chance I would win the title,” recounts a modest Mick.
